The Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball in NYC on April 18 took party-goers back to the Jazz Age: Guest entered the party through a Tiffany Blue Box topped with the iconic white bow, and arrived in a space with a chic, art deco, Jazz Age supper club vibe, with a Moet & Chandon Champagne tower straight out of The Great Gatsby’s garden.
The party also included Trapeze artists, flapper-esque dancers, a live Jazz band, an orchestra, and a surprise performance by Smash‘s Megan Hilty.
The 400 guests included Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Williams, Jessica Biel, as well as The Great Gatsby actress Carey Mulligan and director Baz Luhrmann.
Hudson, Paltrow, and Parker were spotted giggling up a storm while clinking glasses of Moet & Chandon. Gwyneth and SJP were inseparable throughout the evening, laughing and catching up like two long lost friends, and while Gatsby was the topic of conversation throughout the evening, Biel showed her political side, enthusiastically talking about how she “went to the White House and met Mr. President!” Continuing, she said, “And have you met Michelle [Obama]? She is my favorite person in the world!”
