Ireland’s The Irish Daily Star has followed the lead of France’s Closer magazine and published topless photos of Kate Middleton, taken while she was on vacation with husband Prince William in the French Alps.
The newspaper’s Republic of Ireland edition printed the photos — not the edition for Northern Ireland, which is part of the U.K.
The newspaper’s editor, Mike O’Kane, said he published the photos as “a service to our readers” and that he was “taken aback” by the backlash.
He said, “The duchess would be no different to any other celeb pics we would get in, for example Rihanna or Lady Gaga. She’s not the future queen of Ireland so really the only place this is causing fury seems to be in the U.K. Everybody in Ireland wants to know what all the kerfuffle is about.”
He also told the BBC, “She’s married into the royal family, she’s one of the most photographed people in the world, and she decides to partially disrobe on a balcony where it can be seen from a public road and she’s stunned now, or the Palace are annoyed that people are interested in this.”

The incident of Diana being haunted by the Media should have cautioned the royal couple, it is too late for a retrieval, the damage has been done.
The royals, from the onset, know that they are going to be under a magnifying glass or within sights of long camera lenses. They are public figures. They have people in their entourage who’s job it is to instruct them to be careful. If they don’t abide by those rules, then they expose themselves to public scrutiny and sometimes embarrassment.
NO MORALS, NO RESPOSIBILITY, YOU JUST DONT CARE DO YOU. ALL THAT MATTERS IS MONEY …..SHE MAY NOT BE THE FUTURE QUEEN OF YOUR COUNTRY, BUT IS THAT A REASON TO PRINT THESE PICTURES. YOU ARE A DISGRACE. LAY WITH THE DOGS…
