Glamazon Vanessa Trump is busily juggling the arrival of her fourth child — with husband Donald Trump, Jr. — and her growing handbag and accessories collection La Poshett.
It’s no easy task considering the ages of her children: Kai Madison Trump, 5; Donald John Trump III, 3; and Tristan Milos Trump, 11 months.
But Vanessa, a native New Yorker who began modeling as a child, is making it work. And she has big plans for La Poshett.
Launched by Vanessa and three other women she’s know for awhile, La Poshett’s chic pieces are handmade from premium materials in New York City, and according to the brand, the pieces “represent the culture and style that is at the heart and soul of the city.”
In an exclusive interview with GossipDavid.com, Vanessa talks about her plans for the collection, and her latest pregnancy craving!
Any plans to expand La Poshett, in terms of materials used? Styles?
“Yes, our goal is to keep coming up with new ideas and styles. Our favorite element of the business is definitely the creative aspect, so you will always be surprised by La Poshett’s new styles and the unique ways we work with exotic and fine leather as a combination.”
Being a mom, and obviously having an affinity for kids, would you want to launch a children’s wear collection of La Poshett handbags and accessories?
“I’ve been giving that some serious thought. Especially having experience in the kiddie department, since I will have four [children] under the age of 5. I love it!”
What’s the best thing about launching a collection with people personally close to you?
“Well for one, we all understand each other, so that helps a lot. We are all very different with very different taste. That being said, collaborating together makes it all the more interesting and creative.”
Oprah has had your bag! Wow. So what’s it like to have the one-and-only Oprah be a fan?
“After being on Oprah with the Trump family I made her a clutch in one of her favorite green colors. It’s an absolute honor to have notable names wear La Poshett bags since there are so many choices out there, everyone loves it. I take it as a huge compliment!”
How does this pregnancy compare to the previous three pregnancies?
“Of course every pregnancy is different, I can definitely vouch for that. But with this one I seem to have more energy which is strange since I should be totally exhausted chasing after three kids at home! Its also gone by the fastest!”
Any strange cravings?
“This time around, I’ve developed a craving for hot and spicy food– lots of jalapeno peppers!”
