While the well wishes are rolling in to Snooki — following the birth of her first child with Jionni Lavalle — one seemingly unlikely well-wisher has emerged: Ex-boyfriend Emilio Masella.
Since the Jersey Shore star and the Connecticut personal trainer-bartender split in April 2010, the press has played on the pair’s bad blood, with reports claiming in June that Emilio had released nude photos of Snooki, which he denied. Then, this past spring, a media outlet quoted Emilio saying he hoped Snooki had a miscarriage.
He later clarified to RadarOnline.com, “I never, ever would say that I hope Snooki has a miscarriage. What I meant is that I hope she’s not really pregnant because I want a future with her and don’t want her having a child with some other dude.”
But, Emilio had nothing but warm words Sunday morning, tweeting “@snooki Congrats on a healthy successful birth. Wish you the best of luck. Will be an amazing mother”
His next tweet, posted about a half an hour later, but unclear if related to Snooki’s pregnancy, read “I’m not perfect.”
