Busted!
Jessica Simpson‘s father, Joe Simpson, was arrested for DUI in Los Angeles last weekend, according to TMZ.
Law enforcement sources that Joe, 54, was arrested on Aug. 4 on Ventura Blvd. in Sherman Oaks, Calif.
LAPD officers pulled him over at 10 p.m.. Joe looked intoxicated to the officers, who pulled him out of his car and arrested him.
He was booked and spent that night in jail. At 9:41 a.m. the next day, he was allowed to go without having to post bail.
This is the former minister’s first offense, so if criminal charges are filed by the LA City Attorney’s Office, he probably would not face any jail time. It’s more likely that he will end up with just a fine.
What is he winking about? I thought the man was a “man of the cloth.” Sure, he is.
