Alanis Morissette Hints She’s In Talks To Join ‘American Idol’ As Judge 2

Is Alanis Morissette heading to the American Idol judges’ table?

The Canadian singer, who releases her new album Havoc and Bright Lights at the end of the month, hinted as much yesterday during a radio interview with CBS.

When asked if she had been approached by the show, she responded, “I’m in talks with somebody right now. I can’t name any names, but I’m pretty excited at the thought of doing it more formally.”

Though the 38-year-old singer claims she still has to “investigate further,” she has already had experience on the show. Two years ago, she took the stage in season nine’s finale with runner up Crystal Bowersox to sing a duet of her hit song “You Oughtta Know.”
