The Jersey Shore star has been named by Forbes magazine as one of the highest-paid deejays in the world, landing him on the #7 spot in the top 10 list of deejays.
His estimated earnings were close $11 million, thanks to his deejaying gigs which pull in about $50,000 per gig.
“In the case of DJ Pauly D…we included him on this list because, like his fellow Electronic Cash Kings, he makes at least half his cash from DJ gigs,” Forbes writes.
According to the magazine, DJ Pauly D has played 132 gigs over the past year.
The world’s highest earning DJ according to Forbes, is Dutch-born DJ Tiesto who can charge more than $250,000 a night. His annual earnings are aroun $22 million.
After DJ Pauly D kicked off his Jersey Shore gig in 2010, the gigs started rolling in, and he’s spun for Britney Spears, the Teen Choice Awards, the MTV Woodies, and has residencies at clubs in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Plus, he’s signed a record deal with 50 Cent and has his own reality show on MTV, The Pauly D Project.
