Michael Clarke Duncan, the actor with the booming voice from The Green Mile, was rushed to the hospital Friday after going into cardiac arrest.
Duncan was taken to a hospital in Los Angeles and admitted to the ICU soon after his heart stopped.
“According to doctors, Michael Clarke Duncan suffered a myocardial infarction early this morning,” his publicist told E! News. “He is now stable and we look forward to his full recovery.”
According to TMZ, the 54-year-old star’s girlfriend, The Apprentice alum Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth (above) found that he had gone into cardiac arrest about 2 a.m., gave him CPR and resuscitated him. Duncan’s publicist would not confirm that report, according the Associated Press.
Duncan most recently appeared in the short-lived Fox series The Finder and the movie Green Lantern.
