Katie Holmes is trying to keep up appearances while in New York City, but on Thursday, she lost it during a phone conversation at Alice’s Tea Cup restaurant.
Katie was at the restaurant with daughter Suri and a couple of friends (and their kids). Looking very thin, she became seemingly engrossed during a 15-minute, intense phone conversation in the corner of the restaurant.
According to Us Weekly, Katie was ”flustered and upset” during the call, and was crying. She then wiped her eyes and nose and returned to the table.
But she got it together for Suri, returning to the table, and buying Suri a star wand, book and feather headband at the restaurant’s gift shop.
