Bachelorette Emily Maynard is this week’s In Touch Weekly cover, with details of the bitter fight between Emily and the multimillionaire parents of her late fiancé (and daughter Ricki’s father) Ricky Hendrick.
“They were beside themselves when they found out she wanted to put little Ricki on TV,” a source tells In Touch. “They think it’s outrageous that she’d be putting their innocent granddaughter in the middle of this media circus.”
The source adds that the decision to become the Bachelorette has “really strained their relationship…Mr. and Mrs. Hendrick are the sweetest people you’ve ever met, and they care about their granddaughter,” says the insider, adding that the couple worries about how she’s coping with the bizarre parade of cameras and unfamiliar men.”
