Heidi Montag and her mom Darlene Egelhoff have officially ended their infamous feud, and she tells GossipDavid.com she’s as happy as ever about the reconciliation.
The pair headed to Demetria Estate in California’s Santa Ynes Valley this past Wednesday for a day of mother-daughter bonding, that included wine-tasting and spa treatments.
“I kind of made up with my mom a year ago, and I’ve been talking to her, but that’s the first time I had seen her since The Hills; it’s been about over two [years],” the star of the MTV reality show and VH1′s Famous Food tells GossipDavid.com. “It was the first time I had seen her since all the drama that happened. It was great to see her, and to catch up and have my mom back.”
Heidi decided her mom needed some pampering. “She hadn’t had a massage in like three years, and her restaurant went under unfortunately because of the economy…So I wanted to just treat her and have a fun day. It was the first time I had one in months too. It was so, so good.”
She adds, “That’s kind of our thing. Like we always do that, so whenever we go to Aspen, or wherever we go, we go to the spa. She likes to be in the same [treatment] room so she can talk.”
As for Heidi’s upcoming TV plans, she’s open to reality TV still. “A real reality show, and not like a scripted drama. I’m definitely open to all opportunities.” She’d also be up for hosting opportunities, as well. “I think that sounds really fun. I’m not seeking that out. That definitely sounds great, I would be open to it for sure.”
And what’s on her summer reading list? Well, not the racy novel Fifty Shades of Grey. “I haven’t read it, and it’s not on my summer reading list. It’s not my cup of tea. It’s great for other people, but I’m definitely not one of those people!”
Next up for Heidi is hosting an evening at PURE nightclub in Las Vegas tonight, where she’ll be joined by friends and husband Spencer Pratt.
