Would you want to appear in more films, but not as a deejay?
”Yeah. I got to bust some of my acting chops on “Project X,” so I’m into exploring it a bit, but music is my first love.”
What the best memory onset you have of working with Todd Phillips?
“The Alexander Wang party in 2011. I’ve never seen so many well-dressed people covered in champagne. Courtesy of Tyler the Creator.”
Is there a celeb whose party you’ve deejayed for who was very collaborative in terms of what you played?
“Heidi Klum and Seal. They were awesome, and very hands on in the music selection process with me.”
If you’re deejaying at a musician’s party, is it a given you’ll play their music or do some not want it? Is there a “rule”?
“Definitely not. Prince dances to 2pac ONLY.”
Whose party would you like to DJ that you haven’t yet?
“Will Smith, and this is a story….“
Which city has the best club-goers in terms of energy? In terms of style?
“Energy, for sure at LIV in MIAMI, and style, NYC. Santos Party House has all kinds of weirdos”
What’s the most requested track right now? Is there a difference between cities?
“‘Mercy’ by Kanye West ft. Big Sean.”
What’s going to be the best thing about crashing college parties?
“Champagne Facials. CC: Kirillwashere.com”
Who would you like to produce for?
“The Weekend or SBTRKT. They put out two of my favorite records last year.”
