Jennifer Lopez is indeed leaving American Idol.
So says E! News, citing unnamed sources. “She’s just too busy,” said one source.
What’s she so busy with? Well, she’s going on tour with Enrique Iglesias this summer through the end of the year.
Plus, the next round of auditions will beging while she’s overseas touring.
Jennifer also wants to spend more time with her children, and presumably beau Casper Smart.
But Fox isn’t happy with Jennifer’s decision. Says another source: “Fox does not want to let her go. They love her.”
I believe Jennifer Is a better judge than a singer, shes a better judge than a performer, shes a better judge than a wife. She should stay in American Idol, she gives a special touch of sensibility and great knowledge. With all my respect for her shes a great judge a beautiful woman and after all a good human being. that’s what I have to say about that. Thank you LOL

I dont want jennifer to leave idol but I do understand her reason. She is the best judge they have had along with Tyler She will be greatly missed

Jlo should not quit American Idol. First, people like to watch beautiful face and body Jennifer Lopez is a total package. 2nd in a short span of time judging, she learned a lot from Steven and Randy. She is sensible. She tries to give justice to most of her comments.

Please not Enrique Iglesias just because his father was a good interpreter and one of the most respectable singers of Latin music that doesn’t make his songs a good interpreter. Even if people like his appearance as a singer he does not not qualify to judge anybody, anyone from section 11 of American Idol can leave him behind and out sing him, hes not a great performer and he should consider changing his career to a actor or something else.
We love Jennifer as a judge on American Idol, but yes we understand there is ur life outside American Idol also

yes thank u she actually has a life unlike randy and Steven.. she has a boy friend that she is very in love with and she is finally going on tour and she has to take care of her little “coconuts” so while we all love her and what she brings to the show we need to respect her and all of her decisions even though it is a HUGE loss for FOX because after all family comes first and if u love someone u have to let them go! We r going to miss her and her personality on the show.
If JLO leaves for real American Idol,it will be for sure a big loss for FOX.She is THE GOD MOTHER(artistically speaking)to the performers, the way she encourages them,advices and loves them is amazing, her unselfishness is beyond reality,she speaks from her heart to them and that’s what makes so special American Idol.I hope she stays,God bless her.

Fox, please do everything you can do to let her stay. Even if giving her a raise (if possible?). She’s a very good judge, etc…….
As a mom I understand needing to be with them more, but I hate to see her go. We have enjoyed her compassion and tenderness as a judge. I hope things change and she decides to stay. My daughter is going to audition and she would love to still have her judging.

I hope that Jennifer could stay out of all the judges she is the most aware of todays’ music and the talent these kids have ..she motivates them, inspires them and promotes them..she is by far the best one of any of the judges I’ve seen… surprisingly Steven Tyler is good too..Randy is just Randy…he mellowed out when simon left and whats her name..lol…Jennifer dont leave..We love you….
Jen, should go. She has better things to do and does many things better, but please take Tyler with you. Judges should not show so much favoritism. Let the voters decide.
I hate to see J-Lo go, but she certainly doesn’t need the money! It seems like a pretty time-consuming job. I think Steve Tyler needs to go; I still miss Simon, because he was the only totally honest judge they ever had! It will be hard to replace her, but I’m sure her kids can use more of her time

Totally get it. She’s a performer. She’s got plenty of years ahead of her to do what she loves until its not practical anymore. For now she is still in her prime. American Idol is better for mentors who are ready to retire or can’t perform. Those who do, do. Those who can’t do, teach.
jlo spend lot of time during live air on american idol, waste lot of projects during that period so mean to say, more talent fees needed for the most powerful woman in the showbiz industries if you want her to stay on AI .

I promise never to watch American Idol ever again Joshua should’ve been first or second place but I forgot he has too much class for that show, he was the best to ever pass that show and they know it. Therefore I’m not wasting my ratings for a program that doesn’t respect itself, Philip is a good musician but not a great singer, not even a good singer, and every little thing is pointing to his direction. I believe its setup and it stinks.
We can’t blame the show or FOX for the voting results. We can only blame America. I think Joshua is the best singer and performer on IDOL stage ever !!!!!!! He also has a lot of class. His loss will not hurt him at all. Can’t wait to buy his album. BTY. What is Phillip still doing there ? He should have gone long ago.
