Prince Harry caused a stir when he did helicopter training in California and Arizona last year, and now, he’s returning Stateside.
He’ll be in Washington, D.C., on May 7 to accept he Atlantic Council’s 2012 Award for Distinguished Humanitarian Leadership, which recognizes, in part, his charitable work on behalf of veterans.
Harry, 27, who did Apache helicopter training in California and Arizona last year and wowed the Caribbean and Brazil on his first solo overseas tour last month, will be in Washington, D.C, on May 7 to accept the Atlantic Council’s 2012 Award for Distinguished Humanitarian Leadership.
In a statement, a rep for the Prince said he’s accepting the award on behalf of “his brother the Duke of Cambridge, and their joint work through the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry.”
