Britney Spears is thisclose to signing a deal with X Factor producers to be one of the show’s next judges, according to multiple reports.
According to Deadline.com, Britney has been offered $10 million for the gig, which would put her just under the $12 million that Jennifer Lopez is making at the rival American Idol.
Neither reps for X Factor head Simon Cowell, nor FOX is commenting yet.
Cowell axed judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul after the show’s first season scored mediocre ratings.
