Armed guards are now protecting Whitney Houston‘s grave to prevent thieves from stealing the $500,000 in jewelry she was buried in.
“There is a very genuine fear that her coffin will be targeted by grave robbers,” a source tells the U.K.’s Daily Star. “The fact she was buried with such valuable jewelery is just an invitation to sickos.”
Adds the source. “It would be hard for them to actually dig her casket up, but that won’t stop psychotic fans or people who think it could make them money.”

It’s crazy she was even buried with such expensive jewels and your worried about sicko’s digging her up yet you tell exactly we’re she’s buried.
I agree why even bury her in real jewels. Why not have replicas made. That’s valuables that could have gone to Bobbi Kristina. They’re asking for problems by doing so and publicizing it……MAKES NO SENSE!!!
It makes perfect sense. The jewels were Whitney’s and that was the FAMILIES CHOICE you ignorant fools. If Krissi wanted them she would have kept them no questions asked. It is of NO concern to anyone other than family on the way things were done. eg. FUNERAL, VIEWING, BURIAL and anything else about Whitney. What was supposed to be a private and intimate last moment for Cissy, Krissi and family was ultimately destroyed at the hands of money hungry, fame hungry, materialistic, disrespectful, self centered heartless thieves. The national inquirer is to blame for this topic and I hope they are shut down asap. Lifes pretty sad for that editor when they have to make a dollar at the expence of the HOUSTON’S GRIEF. PS im sure there are countless fans out there that would take care of all involved for absolutely NOTHING BUT LOVE.
I agree….why wasn’t it just left to Bobbi Kristina…that wasn’t very smart….there was no reason to bury her in diamonds or any other kind of expensive jewelry….then….tell the world about and pinpoint her grave….you were begging for a disaster.

Did her family think that Whitney would want something of such value be buried with her when they could have been auctioned off with the proceeds going to homeless shelters and to help the poor. Apparently Whitney was a religous person, I feel she would have wanted that rather than having her jewelery worn in her casket and never being of any use to anyone.
I totally agree..wasting all kinds of time and reason because they advertise where shes buried.they’ll just wait until if all dies down and whether shes really buried with them or not Id be willing to bet the minute that grave is no longer guarded someone will still try to disturb it! Every stupid to tell her resting spot.
Where she was buried was very public to begin with….she was buried next to her dad, so it would have been known by now….the fact she was buried in expensive diamonds is what really put her in grave robber dreams…it’s also true they could have removed the jewelry before sealing her coffin…also…she’s an icon….that put her in jeopardy in itself.

It’s sad they actually have armed guards to watch over her grave. I know there are sickos out there cause some of them were commenting when the photo first appeared. And I’ll admit I angrily responded to some of those sickos who were so disrespectful, including a “doctor”. But why would someone actually lift up a grave stone, dig six feet deep in dirt, then have to open the vault containing her casket, then pry the casket open to the smell of dead flesh all for jewelry? That is completely insane! The task would take hours to complete and there’s no way someone would not notice. It just goes to show how low we as a people are in this country.
